As of June 2023, I work for PreVeil, provider of simple, encrypted email and file collaboration software. In my free time, I tend to a bunch of little projects.
- I’ve been working on a couple of personal software projects:
- A Basic Unit Test (BUT) framework for C code.
- A unit test and fault-injection framework, also for C. It’s the follow-on to BUT.
- Tending to my rain garden.
- Learning blender for the umpteenth time. It looks like fun. I just have to stay focused.
- Walking our dog, Tarly. It takes my mind away from the daily grind and gets me outside for a little while each day.
Samwell Tarly, or just Tarly, is a playful, energetic seven year old mutt. He’s a rescue from Puerto Rico. We named him after the Game of Thrones character, because when he was a puppy he was pure black. If he was in shadow and I walked into the room, I couldn’t see him. Tarly is part Chow, Retriever, some Terrier breeds, and who knows what else. I’ve never seen a dog shed as much as he does. He has a double coat, so Winter weather is great and snow is the best thing ever in his life.
Other than that, I’m just trying to keep up.
